The County
Planning and Building Department administers the county's
land use and development ordinances and reviews applications
for special use permits, subdivisions and zone changes
for presentation to the Planning and Development Council and
the Board of County Commissioners. The department provides
assistance with various land use issues and ensures
compliance with existing regulations. Other functions of
this department include the enforcement of adopted building
code regulations, and providing assistance to other County
Departments including: Road and Bridge, Landfill and
community development projects.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL
MEETING
Gooding County Planning
and Zoning Commission, Committee, and Board of
Commissioners will be holding a special
meeting August 17, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. to 5:30
p.m. to work on the Gooding County Subdivision
Ordinance. Location of Workshop 145 7th
Ave. East, Gooding. This workshop is open to
the Public.
