PULLING TOGETHER IN THE FIGHT AGAINST NOXIOUS WEEDS!
The
Tri-County Noxious Weed Office, located in Gooding Idaho, serves
Gooding, Jerome and Lincoln Counties. Services provided include plant
identification and treatment recommendations. There is also a Cost
Share Program available to assist landowners with their Noxious Weed
Control situations (call for details).
Section
22-2407 Idaho Code States:
Landowner and Citizen Duties.

It
shall be the duty and responsibility of all landowners to control
noxious weeds on their land and property, in accordance with this
chapter and with rules promulgated by the director.

The
cost of controlling noxious weeds shall be the obligation of the
landowner.

The
Tri-County Noxious Weed Control Office is associated with the
Idaho
Association of Weed Control Superintendents,
Idaho Weed Control
Association, Idaho Weed Awareness Campaign,
Wood River Resource
Conservation and Development, and the Southern Idaho Biological Control
Program.
